Trees with Heights from 12-feet to 20-feet

In recent years, we've seen increased demand for Leyland cypress trees 12' and larger. So, to try to meet this demand, we planted a special one-acre field devoted exclusively to growing Leyland cypress with heights 12' to 20'.

Our taller Leyland cypress have been used for several years as the City of Baton Rouge's Christmas tree, displayed each year at the Baton Rouge River Center (formerly the Centroplex). One of our big Leylands was featured on the cover of the July 1993 issue of the American Christmas Tree Journal* and later that year became the City of Baton Rouge's tree.

The 1996 Louisiana Governor's Tree displayed each year at the Governor's Mansion and the 1996 Louisiana Capital Rotunda Tree are good examples of attractively decorated big Leyland cypress (both 15' tall) from Louisiana's Christmas Forest. We've been honored to be asked to supply the Governor's Tree and others displayed in State offices for the past several years. We sell about 40 of these beautiful giants each year, with heights up to 20'.
