When we first started selling Leyland cypress, we discouraged our customers from getting them flocked since we reasoned their rather limber branches would not support flocking. Well, about three years ago, a lady asked to have her Leyland flocked. We tried unsuccessfully to talk her out of it. At her insistence we lightly flocked her tree; to our surprise, it was the prettiest tree we'd ever flocked. So, not only is the Leyland our best and most popular green tree, but it has become our prettiest and most popular flocked tree as well.
